¿Cómo está(s usted)?

Saying "How are you" can be done in a couple of ways. It depends on who you're talking to, which one you use. If you are talking to someone older than you, or someone you don't know very well, you may use the formal approach: ¿Cómo está usted?

If you're talking to someone you know well, younger or maybe your own age, you might go for the informal ¿Cómo estás? or ¿Qué tal?
