There are three types of verbs in Italian. There are the ones ending with -are, -ere and -ire. First we're going to look at the verbs ending in -are. In this example: parlare.

Lei parla you speak (formal)
lei parla she speaks
lui parla he speaks
noi parliamo we speak
voi parlate you all speak
loro parlano they speak
